Shannon L. Moore, MS, RD, LD/N serves as President of the Florida Renal Association, bringing over 20 years of experience across renal nutrition, dialysis operations, pharmaceutical sales, and patient advocacy. In her role, she has led initiatives that elevate kidney care across Florida, including the coordination of the annual Kidney Day at the Capitol and support of legislative efforts such as the 2022 Living Organ Donor Protection Act (HB 1099). Shannon is currently National Accounts Director (Outpatient) at CorMedix, overseeing national strategy for DefenCath in the dialysis and access center space. A registered dietitian and long-time champion for the renal community, she is deeply committed to advancing access, education, and outcomes for kidney patients statewide. Shannon also serves on the Board of Directors for the National Kidney Foundation of Florida and continues to advocate for policy change and innovation in kidney care.

Amy Kozsuch, MSN, MBA, is the Chief Executive Officer of Central Florida Kidney Centers, Inc., a nonprofit dialysis organization committed to delivering compassionate, community-based care. With over two decades of leadership experience in nephrology, Amy has held roles spanning clinical operations, strategic development, and health policy. She also serves as a past president board member of the National Kidney Foundation of Florida and the Florida Renal Association, where she advocates for equitable access to kidney care and champions innovation across the continuum of dialysis services. Her work reflects a deep commitment to patient-centered care, operational excellence, and advancing the mission of nonprofit providers in today’s evolving healthcare landscape.
Ron Watson

Mr. Ron Watson is Founder and President of Watson Strategies, a full-service healthcare lobbying firm based in Tallahassee. Mr. Watson has over 35 years of experience in Florida political, regulatory, campaign and lobbying endeavors. He previously lobbied for physicians and dentists with the Florida Medical Association (FMA), the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association (FOMA), and the Florida Dental Association (FDA). He was also formerly the Executive Director of the Florida Society of Cannabis Physicians. He is also a founder of MuV by Verano and was Director of Governmental Relations and NW Florida Outreach Coordinator. MuV is one of the Florida licensed medical marijuana treatment centers with 81 locations (MMTC) which Mr. Watson helped form when he spearheaded the passage of the original “Charlotte’s Web / Low-THC Cannabis” bill as well as the passage of SB 8-A, which implements the Constitutional Amendment on medical marijuana. During this time, he has developed excellent relationships with executive, legislative and regulatory leadership throughout Florida government. Mr. Watson has a comprehensive knowledge of laws, rules, budgets and regulations concerning medical, dental, pharmaceutical, tort reform and insurance issues. He also has extensive political involvement with patient advocacy and grassroots organizations, as well as organizing and managing political action committees.<br>
