Carmen Lopez Maya is an HHD and PD Registered Nurse with U.S. Renal Care in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. She has served in her current role for over four years and has a total of seven years of dialysis nursing experience, including previous experience as an in-center Charge RN.

Carmen is currently completing her MSN in Nurse Executive Leadership. Her scientific poster highlights key initiatives she implemented to expand her home dialysis program. Drawing from this experience, her MSN capstone project focuses on increasing awareness of home dialysis therapies and improving access to modality education in a facility without a designated Home Dialysis Nurse or Options Educator.
