Mary has more than 20 years of experience in adult, pediatric, medical/surgical, ICU nursing and 23 years speciating in vascular access. She developed, implemented, and managed the Vascular Access Service at the University Of Minnesota Medical Center. She was the Technical Specialist at 3M for Tegaderm IV products and was a on the Tegaderm CHG IV dressing launch team, responsible for new product training for US, Canada and Europe. Formerly, Mary served as the Clinical Consultant/Educator in Vascular Access for Bard Access Systems, Teleflex Medical, CareFusion and Smith’s Medical, Inc. Mary is well published in the subject of Vascular Access as well as other areas within the field of vascular access. She has been a featured presenter at the Association of Vascular Access [AVA] National Conference, the Canadian Nurses Association, and the Infusion Technology Institute. She has also spoken at conferences in Europe, and numerous regional meetings in the U.S.
