Jake focuses on healthcare law and encompasses a range of regulatory, transactional and corporate matters. Jake regularly represents a variety of dialysis and nephrology providers, vascular access center operators and owners, hospitals, physician group practices, infusion therapy owners and operators, behavior health providers, skilled nursing facilities, healthcare information technology companies and other healthcare providers in structuring mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, accountable care and capitated care arrangements, syndications and divestitures. Jake was recognized by his peers in the 2025 edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America for his exceptional work in Health Care Law. Earlier in Jake’s career he practiced as a litigator for Chicago-based law firms. He also has served as staff assistant to U.S. Senator Tom Harkin and to the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions.
